Xtreme Power

The Xpedition line of solar panels is the high end, powerful line of our portable solar products. Exceptionally good at producing power when you need it. Useful for outfitting an expedition, business professionals who need to power their high-end portable electronics, professional photographers and journalists.

Water, dust and bulletproof

Literally. Certified to MIL-STD-810 and originally developed to power frontline military electronics, these solar panels can take a lot of punishment. How much punishment? Among other things, these panels have survived being run over by tanks and can handle both extreme cold and extreme heat. What does that mean for normal use? It means that whatever situation you put an Xpedition in, it will be up to the challenge.

Expandable

Link up to 4 Xpedition panels together for up to 248 Watts of portable power. That is a lot of power, considering you can fold them up in seconds to the size of a magazine. Requires Y-Cable accessory.

Newest Technology

The Xpedition incorporates CIGS solar cells. CIGS stands for Copper Indium Gallium deSelenide and is currently one of the leading Thin Film technologies in both power and reliability. CIGS is very stable due to its crystalline elemental structure, therefore it will not degrade like other solar Thin Film technologies (amorphous Silicon) and works better in low-light conditions (slightly cloudy) than crystalline solar technologies (mono- and polycrystalline).
